TEC Solutions’ WMD Equipment Services are designed to provide guidance to organizations wishing to purchase, upgrade or expand their capabilities and/or learn how to operate and maintain their radiological, chemical and biological detection and response equipment.

Our staff and consultants have used this equipment extensively in real situations in a variety of applications including hospitals, emergency response, regulatory compliance, remediation, power plant operations, chemical warfare agent demilitarization, facility inspections and remediation.

Our services are extremely beneficial to those who may have been inundated with salespeople who are only concerned with pushing their product to you. Most salespeople will only show you capabilities, leaving you to try to sort out what best suits your needs. TEC Solutions will do a comprehensive comparison of commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment and show how they compare in the four “abilities”: capability, reliability, durability and affordability. We will also show you the limitations of each piece of equipment and outline sustainment costs.

Our services to you begin by conducting an in-depth analysis of your current capabilities as they relate to the threats in your area (chemical, biological, radiological, TIC/TIM and unknowns).

TEC Solutions then provides the organization with specific technology recommendations; accumulates pricing information, any relevant independent test data and provides a detailed summary of equipment that may best be utilized by the organization in the event a WMD incident occurs. Our recommendations will meet or exceed published standards from NIOSH, NFPA and DHS.

TEC Solutions doesn’t stop there. Once the equipment is received, TEC Solutions can assist you with the initial set-up and distribution. Once this is accomplished, a consultant will sit down with you and discuss the equipment. We will discuss with you the basic storage, maintenance, calibration, and warranty information.

If you require further assistance, TEC Solutions can establish a maintenance planning program for your organization. This program will help the individual(s) responsible for the equipment track inspections, maintenance, calibration and repair of all response equipment.

Lastly, TEC Solutions can assist you with your training needs by providing on-site training on any equipment you have purchased. This training will entail the capabilities, limitations, and operation of the equipment to your responders.
